In the center of Brussels' lively Grand-Place is the square of the same name.

This square, where the Gothic City Hall is located, is home to cafes and the Choco-Story chocolate museum, as well as flamboyant buildings that were used as the meeting place of professional associations. In the side streets of the region, there are beer bars that have been serving for centuries. Rue des Bouchers is a narrow street lined with restaurants serving steamed mussels. Luxury boutiques, watchmakers and chocolatiers abound in the magnificent Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, a 19th-century arcade.
